Put 5 in Marks right off the bat then fill in BM all the way. Then go marks again. I have aimed shot in there just because you have to have it for mortal shots....not that i would ever use aimed shot. Refer to www.bigredkitty.net for details on how to use marks in a beastmaster specc.

Mages!
I have never got a Mage past 20, but I know about getting started and where to go from there. Frost is the best leveling specc. The key to low level mages is moves. When you use Freeze on a mob, strafe to the left or right don't back up, before you cast again. You strafe much faster so you get more distance before Freeze wears off. More later about later respeccing.

Instance Runs!!!
Instances are THE place for gear, xps and fun in a team setting. Up until level 60, all the instance runs are 5 man. For levels 17-21 its The Deadmines and Wailing Caverns, 20-25 it's Shadowfang Keep and Blackfathom Depths, 25-29 Razorfen Kraul, 32-40 Scarlet Monastery and Razorfen Downs. Each 5 man team will consist of different positions that each have a job, based on class. The Tank, usually a Warrior or Paladin or sometimes a Feral Druid, holds the aggro and keeps the mobs fighting them only. This gives the Healer, usually a Priest or Paladin (Druids and Shaman can too), one target to worry about. Then you have CC, or crowd control. This limits the amount of mobs you are fighting. Rogues can Sap and Mages can Polymorph mobs to keep them from attacking the Tank until the first mob is finished. CC isn't a position itself, it is a part of being DPS (damage per second). The DPS team member can be of almost any class that is specced for maximum damage output...typically Mages, Rogues, Hunters, and Warlocks and Warriors are DPS.
Warlocks are very important in that they can use their Soulstone on the Healer. If the party is "wiped" or all killed the Soulstone can allow the Healer to self resurrect so they can resurrect the rest of the party without having to start over. More later!
Warlock Specc 29-40
Now you are ready to respecc and the real fun begins. You are now able to "Drain Tank" to increase your leveling speed. Drain Tanking means that you send your Voidwalker, cast Corruption, Curse of Agony and Life Siphon. Then you cast Life Tap. This will drop your health but raise your mana. Then you use Life Drain to refill your health. You constantly balance mana and health by Life Tapping and Life Draining. This will make you have practically no down time eating and drinking as you level, making you almost as efficient as a Hunter in leveling. I don't use Immolate because it will often pull the aggro from your Voidwalker. Many would disagree and say use your Succubus and don't worry about pulling the aggro. Well try it and see if you like it, I find the Void to be the best pet, especially with the Sacrifice spell. Also you want to make sure you have Shadow Wrath gear or gear that increases spell damage. This will make your Drain Tanking much more effective. Always wear some"of the Eagle gear, because Stamina and Intelligence are your best friends...Spirit is for the birds!!!!!
Warlock 10-29 Specc
From level 10-29 Demonology should be your focus. Although your first 5 points should go to Improved Corruption in the Affliction tree, this makes it an instant cast. Always use the voidwalker as your pet, unless on an instance run, then use an Imp. As you attack a mob, send the voidwalker first. Then use Corruption, Curse of Agony, and then Immolation. After level 20 or so try and pulling 2 mobs at once, DoT (damage over time)both and use your wand on the mob the Voidwalker isn't attacking. Focus on "of the Eagle" gear.
